Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Textbari WhatsApp order-notification service and the accompanying “Order Notifications for WhatsApp” plugin (together, the “Service”). By installing the plugin or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service lets you connect a WhatsApp account (by scanning a QR code) and send automated order-status notifications from that account to your customers. The Service acts as a technical relay between your WooCommerce store and WhatsApp.
3. Free of charge
The Service is provided free of charge. We do not guarantee that it will remain free indefinitely, but any change would be announced in advance. There are no hidden fees, and no payment details are required to use it.
4. Your responsibilities
- You will only message customers who expect to hear from you, and you will honour opt-out requests.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, including consumer-protection, anti-spam, and data-protection laws (such as the GDPR where relevant).
- You will comply with WhatsApp's and Meta's terms and policies. Automating a personal or business WhatsApp account may violate WhatsApp's Terms of Service and can result in your number being restricted or banned. You accept this risk.
- You are responsible for the content of the messages you send and for obtaining any necessary consent from recipients.
- You will not use the Service for spam, fraud, harassment, or any unlawful or abusive purpose.
5. Not affiliated with WhatsApp / Meta
“WhatsApp” is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Textbari is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. Use of the WhatsApp name is solely to describe interoperability.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that messages will be delivered, or that your WhatsApp account will not be restricted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Textbari and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or WhatsApp account access, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability is limited to zero.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Textbari harmless from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the Service, your messages, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
